SpeechTurbo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

1. Introduction

At SpeechTurbo, we take your privacy seriously. Your voice, media files, and transcripts belong to you. This policy explains how we collect, process, retain, and delete your data.

2. Audio and Video Processing

Transcription runs on our secured GPU infrastructure. We do not route your private media through third-party transcription APIs for core processing. Processing is performed solely to deliver your requested transcription output.

3. Payments (Paddle)

When you purchase Turbo Credits, payment is processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle collects billing information (such as name, email, and payment method details) necessary to complete your transaction. SpeechTurbo receives order confirmation and customer email for account crediting but does not store full payment card numbers. For payment-related data, Paddle's privacy policy applies: https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy

4. Data Retention, Purge and AI Non-Training Guarantee

We respect the confidentiality of your data. SpeechTurbo implements an aggressive automated data destruction pipeline:

  • Automated Media Purge: Raw audio and video files uploaded by users are temporarily retained for exactly 24 hours purely to facilitate quality verification or re-processing. Upon the 24-hour deadline, raw files are permanently and physically deleted from our servers.
  • Transcript Storage: Generated text transcripts are stored securely using industry-standard encryption until you explicitly choose to delete them from your User Dashboard.
  • AI Training Exclusion Policy: SpeechTurbo strictly guarantees that your private media files, temporary caches, and generated text outputs will NEVER be used, sold, or shared to train any open-source or commercial Large Language Models (LLMs) or automated speech recognition (ASR) systems.

5. 100% User Ownership

You retain 100% ownership and copyright of all uploaded media and resulting transcripts. SpeechTurbo claims no rights over your data.

6. Security Measures

All communication with our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). Direct browser-to-object-storage uploads use cryptographically signed temporary URLs with limited lifetime.
